We collect as close to nothing as we can get away with. No ads, no tracking, no selling data, ever.
Sage is powered by Claude, made by Anthropic. When you chat with Sage — or submit a practice essay to the Writing Coach — your message or essay and your practice statistics are sent to Anthropic to generate the reply, then the reply comes back. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. We do not store coach conversations. A parent or guardian must approve the Coach inside the app before it works, and Sage is instructed to discuss only schoolwork and never to ask for personal information.
If you use online races, leaderboards, or friends, your player name, rating, and win/loss record are visible to other players, and tournament results (including the Wall of Champions) display your player name publicly. Player names pass a profanity filter, and we encourage wizard names, not real names. You can hide your rating in Settings.
Purchases are auto-renewing subscriptions processed by Apple (App Store) — we never see or store card numbers. Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings.
In the app: Manage account → Delete this account removes your account and synced data from our servers. You can also open an issue at our public repository and we'll delete it for you.
Quizard is built for students. We designed it to work without collecting personal information: pseudonymous names, no email, parent approval before any AI feature. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us below and we will delete it.
